Universal Reader (optional)

The Universal Reader is an additional reader that works in conjunction with the regular RFID reader (open standard) that is installed inside the access control keypad. In most cases , 95%+ the badges will work with the dual readers. In some cases, customers have their security integrators install badging frequencies custom to them for more stringent security. SecuraStock can program the uni- versal reader in the factory so it will read these badges when you receive the ma- chine. The Universal Reader can be compared to a universal remote.. The uni- versal remote works with most TV manufacturers' codes out of the box, but in some cases the remote needs further programming to work.
