How Much Pressure is Needed?
Users should be instructed to use the same amount of pressure when placing their finger on the sensor as used to press a doorbell or a button on a coffee machine.
If too much pressure is applied to the sensor window, the finger's ridges become pressed together and create an indistinguishable image. Too much pressure will create a "blurred" image which the sensor might not recognize. If too little pressure is applied, the resulting image will be faded and unclear.
