Connecting to the Local User Interface
In order to update the local software version, a connection to the machine
must be established in one of two ways:
1 Using the static IP address assigned on the customer's network
2 Physically connect to the machine using the management console.
Customer's Static IP Address
A static IP address is recommended during implementation for ease of access to the local software. This will ONLY work when connected to the customer's network.
1 While connected to the customer's network, open a web browser.
In the URL address line, type "https://" followed by the Static IP
2 Address assigned to this machine. The SecuraStock software login page should appear.
Physical Connection to Machine
A physical connection must be established to the machine for machines that do not have a static IP address or for users who do not have access to the customer's network. To do this, one MUST have a laptop and an Ethernet cord. Do not unplug any Ethernet connections or AC Power cords within or outside of the unit.
Use an Ethernet cable to connect a laptop to the black RJ45
1 Ethernet port on the Management Console. (It is located directly below the white port connecting the machine to the customer's network .)
2 While connected to the machine, open a web browser.
In the URL address line type: "https://192.168.44.3". The
3
SecuraStock login page should appear.
**If the SecuraStock login page does not appear, try disabling the wireless connection of the laptop.
