What kinds of items can be dispensed from a SecuraStock machine?

A wide array of maintenance, laboratory and office supply products can be dispensed; the only restrictions are the physical size of the product and the weight (see weight capacity per shelf). Typically, products measuring less than 5' by 2' can be vended. See Products to Vend for more information.

How many SKUs can be put into a SecuraStock machine?

A single machine can accommodate up to 240 SKUs depending upon item size and the stock quantity. On average, a SecuraStock machine will hold 2 to 4 times the number of SKUs of a coil machine.

Will products have trouble vending properly?

There are no coils or carousels that might fail to dispense the product. Once you access the machine, all products vend 100% of the time without fail.

How do I set up a machine?

Follow the Product Installation Guidelines contained within, these instructions will enable you to quickly convert your existing stock into the machine.

How long will it take to deliver and set up a SecuraStock machine from the point of ordering?

The lead time for a machine is 4-6 weeks unless a Distributor has an annual delivery schedule established. In this case the delivery can be 2-4 weeks.

Who installs the machine(s)?

The authorized SecuraStock Distributor is responsible for machine installation and the training of user personnel. SecuraStock may offer a Distributor "installation packages". In these cases, a SecuraStock installer will perform the installation and training.

What if a customer wants to change what a machine dispenses?

It is very easy to change the product mix in a machine and on the software system. This can be done by either the customer or the Distributor. Any such change can be completed in minutes, with minimal training.

How does the vending machine replenishment work?

The SecuraStock software utilizes a reorder point based on Minimum/ Maximum/ Safety Stock inventory levels. When the on-hand inventory for an item falls below its Minimum, it appears on a "low stock" report indicating that a reorder is necessary.
