Product Use Limit Notifications

Product Use Limit Notifications send an immediate email when the product issued has exceeded the "Quantity" limit for the selected "Period". Adding a specific limit by "User" allows a supervisor to receive notification when specific individuals exceed the allowed usage. To contrast, if the "User" field is left blank, the limitation applies to the issues for the selected Product by ALL users.

Product: (Required) Any active product from Inventory

Quantity: (Required) Quantity of Product not to be exceeded within the selected period. Period: (Required) Selected (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly)

User: USERS, POWERUSERS, MANAGERS, ADMINS

Department:

Recipients: (Required) USERS, POWERUSERS, MANAGERS, ADMINS Frequency: Selected (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Monthly)

Fields on the file:

User, Department, Product ID, Description, Category, Quantity Taken, Quantity Allowed, Quantity Above Allowed, Unit Price, Amount Not

PRODUCT USE NOT PERMITTED—WARNING ON MONITOR

If a user or department is not permitted to take a certain item, a Product Use Notification should be setup with the Allowed Quantity set at zero. If user attempts to issue the forbidden product he or she will receive a visual cue, on the machine's monitory, that informs the user he or she is not allowed to take a certain item. (If audio is enabled, there will also be an audible cue.) The user is prompted to put the item back and "Undo Last Scan".
