CONFIGURATION - Machines
Machines are assigned to Transactions by either scanning the Machine barcode or choosing the Machine from a dropdown menu during computer entry of a Request or Transaction. Machine data can be used to create machine specific part lists.
BEST PRACTICE: Create a generic machine to use as a default (e.g. "N/A"), even if transactions are not assigned to "machines" in your organization. Users are not required to scan a "Machine" barcode when using SecuraStock. However, "Machine" is a required field
when the data entry function is used for Requests. Since
the field is required, a generic machine meets this need.
